Bar Team
Our Bar Team is responsible for serving drinks, restocking, using the POS system and generally keeping the tavern clean and tidy.
This team arrives on site ahead of their first shift, which will be allocated prior to arrival on a rota basis based on your availability, and are allowed to camp/bunk in the staff area.
There is also the option to join the team to help with set up and/or take down of the bar.
Outside their shifts, bar staff are free to play the game.

What the role involves
As a member of the Bar Team, your role will include the following activities:
- Serving customers and taking payments
- Restocking
- Cleaning the bar area
If you are a member of the bar set up team, your role will include the following activities:
- Putting up and taking down the bar tents
- Setting up and packing up the bar
- Loading and unloading lorries
- Taking deliveries
You can volunteer for one of the three options below:

You will be expected to attend planning meetings between events where possible and keep yourself up to date with the relevant Curious Pastimes policies and procedures.

We do ask you to complete 2 x 2 hour trial shifts on the bar before making a final decision on any recruitment into the team. No previous bar experience is needed as full training will be provided.
