| Description | For 5 stamina, the character can spend at least two minutes considering the information they have on a potentially hostile force. This might involve studying maps of a future battlefield, listening to scouting reports, or discussing intelligence. Afterwards, they may tell a referee what they have discerned and ask one question about the enemy's objectives, likely tactics or deployment of troops in the coming battle.
The level of detail in the answer depends on the quality of the character's information and observations, and on the specific situation - for example, an enemy general's next move might be unclear because they are waiting on an omen to guide them. If a character with Strategic Insight and a character with Pathfinder use their skills together, both will receive better quality information. Using either or both ahead of any scouting mission can improve the outcome. See Information Gathering for more on information-gathering skills. Note: The number of stamina points the character receives each day depends on how many skills they know that use them, see Magic Points, Stamina and Work Units. |
