Description The character can, with access to a jeweller’s bench and at a cost in work units and materials, remove impurities in gems, stripping them of colour to increase their value and magical potential. Gems can be cleansed more than once, removing more colour each time, although it takes increasingly more effort to strip more colour out of them.
