Vocals By my exalted might and the power of the spirits, I discard this dull matter and assume an ethereal mantle – Spectral Form
Call Spectral Form
Range Self
Duration 1 minute
Cost 10 magic points
Key Words Exalted Spiritual
Description The caster becomes a minor (level 6) spirit for the duration of the spell (if the caster is already a supernatural creature, they use their normal level). Their clothes and armour, and anything they’re carrying, are transformed with them, but provide no protection and cannot be used for any purpose.

As a spirit, the caster may become invisible or visible at will, which they can indicate by slowly raising or lowering one finger. They are insubstantial, and can pass through nonmagical barriers unhindered; they can neither touch nor be touched by creatures other than spirits at all.

The caster has the same number of physical hits (p. 00) as normal, but is immune to mundane, Corporeal or Elemental attacks, taking damage only from the damage calls Spirit or Artefact. They have no armour hits, even if wearing armour.

They cannot cast any corporeal or elemental spells in this form, but are immune to such spells in turn. They can cast spiritual spells freely (but not for free), although if they cast any spell that affects another creature, they immediately become visible and must remain so for at least 3 seconds.

As a spirit, the caster is subject to the spells Detect Spirits, Discern Spiritual Nature and Banish Spirit. If the caster is banished or mortally wounded in this form, they immediately turn back into their normal physical form and start their death count.

The caster may end the spell at any time within its duration, immediately turning back into their normal physical form.
